Integrations

Send feedback where your team already works.

Say So stays the system of record. Push the right signal to Slack and your own tools — and keep triage in one calm place.

Slack

Free

New feedback posts to a channel with type, message, user, page link, and screenshot. Anyone can set its status from the message — and the person who left it gets an email when it changes.

  • Free on every plan
  • Two-way: update status from Slack
  • Auto-emails the submitter on status change
  • One-click connect via Slack OAuth

Linear

Pro

Push a triaged feedback item to a Linear issue in one click — Say So stays the system of record. When the issue ships or is canceled, the feedback's status follows and the submitter is emailed.

  • Manual, triage-first — no tracker spam
  • Two-way: Linear issue state syncs feedback status
  • Auto-emails the submitter when work ships
  • Connect with a Linear API key — nothing to install

Webhooks

Pro

Add an endpoint URL and Say So sends a signed JSON event on new feedback and status changes. Verify with the X-SaySo-Signature header, send a test event, and rotate the secret anytime.

  • Signed payloads (HMAC-SHA256)
  • Fires on feedback.created and feedback.status_changed
  • Works with Zapier, Make, n8n, and custom tooling
  • Send-test-event + secret rotation built in
Good questions

Things people ask.

Is Slack really free?

Yes. Connecting Slack and posting new feedback to a channel is free on every plan, including Free. Anyone on your team can update a feedback item's status right from Slack, and the person who left it gets an email when it changes.

How does the Linear integration work?

On Pro, connect Linear and pick a team. On any feedback item, click 'Create Linear issue' to push it downstream — Say So stays your system of record, so only the work you've triaged lands in the tracker. When the Linear issue moves to Done or Canceled, the feedback's status updates and the submitter gets an email. It's two-way: changing the status in Say So also moves the linked issue.

Does Say So auto-create a Linear issue for every feedback?

No, by design. Pushing to Linear is a manual, per-item action so spam and duplicates never reach your tracker. You decide what's worth tracking; everything else stays in the Say So inbox.

How do webhooks work?

On Pro, add an endpoint URL and Say So POSTs a signed JSON payload (X-SaySo-Signature, HMAC-SHA256) on feedback.created and feedback.status_changed. Verify the signature with the secret shown in your dashboard. There's a one-click test event.

Does this work with Zapier, Make, or n8n?

Yes. Point a webhook at any of their inbound 'catch hook' URLs and you can route Say So feedback into thousands of apps without writing code.

Can anyone in Slack change a status?

Yes, by design — any member of the connected channel can move a feedback item to In progress, Shipped, or Declined. Triage stays where your team already talks.
